I'm Magdalena, and I love to code and build things for myself and other people. My story begins when I was a tiny human being. As a little girl, I was a curious person: I tried every sport, every course and every activity I could engage myself in. During this time that I jumped from activity to activity, I learned that I had two strong passions. The first one was new technology; I wanted to try it and tinker with it―I was fascinated. The second passion was physical activity. When I was 12 years old, I got the opportunity to take swimming classes. I worked hard to become a better swimmer, chased after each goal and am here today, having completed all the lifesaving courses multiple times and am a successful lifeguard for the City of Toronto.

Photography is the pause button of life. I can take a phone camera shot for you and capture a moment in time.
Programming is a skill best acquired by practice. I've been coding for 4+ years and can build a good program.
I have been a coder since I was in High School. The very first time I ever wrote code was when I was a teenager and a Minecraft fan. I wanted to show off my Minecraft skills to my friends, and so I began learning tricks. Then I got into real coding in grade 11, where I got introduced to Python. I figured coding was enjoyable, so I took the course once again in grade 12 and learned Java. In the middle of grade 12, I landed at the intersection where I had to decide which road I wanted to take in life. I decided I didn't want to stop coding, so I'm a Computer Science student now at Ryerson University. I learned Python and Java better but have also discovered languages like C, Javascript, Smalltalk, Elixir, etc. I am acquainted with both functional and imperative programming and have studied the core concepts of Computer Science since.
